This week saw Four Boxted Runners taking part in the inaugural Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Half in London, with a field of more than 4,000 runners. On a cold, damp and blustery day, not ideal for running, it was an early morning drive from Colchester.
The course itself wound its way around the Olympic Park, and at some points on the twisty course you cold see runners in every direction, including above and below you. Overall the route did not have a huge elevation to climb, but it was just continuously up and down and round the differing levels of the park paths and roads.
All of the Boxted Runners did us proud, all with great results.
At Park Run on Saturday, we saw two Boxted Runners completing the 5k route at a windy castle Park.
