England Athletics

Membership of England Athletics brings a wide variety of benefits for members ranging from reduced entry fees for road races to discounts at Sweatshop and much more. Importantly, it enables you to opt to receive fortnightly bulletins on what is happening in the sport including essential information for athletes to know. Club London Marathon Place

Every year, as an affiliated club, Boxted Runners receive a place in the London Marathon based on the number of EA Affiliated Members the club has.  A draw will be held every November for all eligible Boxted Runners who are also EA Affiliated Members who wish to run the event. The place cannot be transferred or sold and must be run by the winner of the draw. 

To be considered for the place you need to be a first claim member who paid their EA Membership by 30th April in the membership year.  You must have entered the London Marathon Ballot and have your rejection slip. You must also be registered as an EA Member.
